Movie Plot: Thirteen-year-old middle school student Meg Muri struggles to adjust her school and home life since her father Alex, a renowned scientist, mysteriously disappeared while studying astrophysics when she was too young. Both Meg and her mother Kate believed that they solved the question of humanity’s existence and certified that they had been sent to another world.
One evening, Meg’s younger brother Charles Wallace welcomes Mrs White, who is in the red-haired stranger statue family home in an extravagant white dress. Mrs White claims that a type of space-tour Alex was working on is real. The next day, walking his dog, he meets one of Meg’s classmates, Calvin O’Keefer. She joins her to go home to a friend of Charles Hooles and a funny woman who speaks only in quotes.
Meg and Charles Wallace invited Calvin to dinner. Later Meg and Calvin walk into their backyard where Mrs White appears alongside Mrs Hu and another woman, Mrs Waite. The trio revealed themselves as subtle travelers and led through the mes, Calvin and Charles Wallace, who took them from Star Malak in Meyerier 101 to a distant planet called The Third Planet Uriel.
