Movie Plot: A high school prom faces a deadly threat: a flesh-eating virus that spreads via a popular brand of bottled water. Shortly after the events of the previous film, a very bedridden Paul (Rider Strong) escapes the pulse and deviates from the path of the jungle, leaving pieces of his own flesh on the way. When he finally manages to make it on the highway, he is separated from the school bus and killed. His remains are examined by deputy Winston Olsen (Giuseppe Andrews), a local policeman of the previous film. Winston assured the shocked bus driver that he had hit a moose.
Creek Paul was linked to a bottled water company and infected water was distributed to the local high school. John (Noah Segan), a high school senior, is deciding whether to promiss or stay at home with his long-time crush CAS (Alexey Wasser). Her friend Alex (Rusty Kelly) is against going until she meets with a girl named Liz (Regan Deal). She says that if she can get out of work that night, she will meet her.
John asks howy to go to prom but he refuses. Meanwhile, Winston is in a restaurant where an employee of a bottled water-making company dies of infection. Then he realizes that the drain has become heavily contaminated and goes to the water plant and tells the authorities that the water is contaminated. The worker he informs is killed by a group of CCD (Contamination Control Division) soldiers in an NBC suit. Before they can meet him, Winston goes out.
