Movie Plot: Delhi Safari [5] is the story of a journey made by a leopard cub, his mother, a monkey, a bear and a parrot when the forest they live in is on the verge of destruction. The builders have encroached upon their forest and the animals decide to go to Delhi and protest before Parliament and ask some very simple questions from Parliament, they were wondering why man has become the most dangerous animal. Can man not understand that if forests and animals do not coexist with humans, the balance of the ecosystem will be in danger? The film begins with Yuvraj (or ‘Yuvi’, for short) (Swini Saline in the original Hindi version) saying that she lost her father, Sultan (Sunil Shetty) in the morning, but she does not want to lose her house. The film takes a flashback in the morning in which Yuvi and Sultan play in the jungle and Sultan teaches self-defense to Yuvi while his mother, Begum (Urmila Matondkar), enters.
