Movie Plot: In 1919, after the battle of the circus of the Medici Brothers run by Max Medici, the cavalry artist and Emuli Holt Farier of World War I returned. The circus has gone into financial troubles and Medici had to sell circus horses, after Holt’s wife and co-artist Annie died of the Spanish flu outbreak, so Medici convinced Holt as the caretaker for the circus’s pregnant Asian elephant , “Mrs. . jumbo”. Mrs. Jumbo raises a calf with unusually large ears and orders Medicis Holt to hide the ears before allowing the public to see the calf. However, the calf accidentally revealed its ears in its first performance in Joplin, Missouri, and the crowd pigled the calf with peanuts and other items. “Dumbo” Named. Mrs Jumbo, fearful and angry at her son’s abuse, rushes into the ring, causing extensive damage and accidentally collapsing to the big top, resulting in the death of an abusive handler. Later, to prevent a pralia problem, Medici vowed to sell Mrs. Jumbo. Holt’s son and daughter, Joe and Millie Farier, console Dimmer and discover that he can fly his ears flapping. Children also discover that feathers are the key to Dumbo’s willingness to fly.
