Movie Plot: The film begins with a young girl, Julia Crickton, who wakes up from a dream about her family that her family is forcibly taken from home by soldiers next to her older brother Ashley, who is currently studying her parents’ own books. Ashley then shows her sister a few pages and explains that with alchemy in the book, she hopes to create a world that has never come before. Soon after discovering two strange rub-out pages, the siblings hear some strange noises and Ashley proceeds to the investigation, but an anxious Julia follows a room where she found her parents’ bodies and blood dripping. She sees in horror that her brother has been attacked and possibly murdered so that she has fainted.
