Movie Plot: After a night of partying drunk, university student Theresa “Tree” Gelbman wakes up in the dorm room of classmate Carter Davis on his birthday. She ignores a phone call from her father and sends Carter back to her room. His witchcraft Lori Spengler gives her a cupcake that she throws. Tree meets his married professor, Gregory Butler, with whom he has a relationship. That night, on the way to a party, the tree was lured into a tunnel and killed by a man wearing the mask of the school mascot.
Tree immediately wakes up back into Carter’s bed, and is ineligible to find repeating the events of the previous day himself. Astonished, she celebrates the day, this time avoiding the tunnel and reaching the party. However, the masked killer chases him and kills him again. The tree wakes up again in Carter’s bed, discovers she is in a time loop, and barricades herself in her room to escape death. The killer, already hiding inside, kills him the third time.
