A man looking for the release of a long-time prisoner takes a police officer, his daughter, and a group of strangers hostage. Detective Zhong Wen goes to Wu Bar in search of his vengeful daughter, Miao Miao, now the girlfriend of nightclub owner, Wu Xiang. However, Xiao rejects Miao’s relationship, which leads to an argument between father and daughter. Before Zhong could amend with Miao, he was hit on the head by an unnamed assailant, in a plot taken by Wu.
With regard to consciousness, Zhong finds himself on a chair, and his hands are tied to metal wires. He said Wu was with him after all, but why can’t he do it. Jhang also knows that other times, including her daughter, are being held captive. Wu calls the local lieutenant and demands the audience with a hefty ransom as well as the prisoner V. Xiaofu, before the room is stuck.
