Helen Harris has a glamorous, big-city life working for one of New York’s hottest modeling agencies. But suddenly her free-spirited life gets turned upside down when she must chose between the life she’s always loved, and the new loves of her life!
Helen Harris (Kate Hudson) and Lindsay (Felicity Huffman) were nurtured by their eldest sister Jenny (Joan Kook) after Helen died when she was seven years old. Now Helen is very successful in the fashion industry, working as executive assistant to one of Manhattan’s most prestigious modeling agencies, and has a good Manhattan lifestyle that keeps her extremely busy and content. But Helen’s world suddenly changes when Lindsay and Behnoi Paul (Sean O’Brien) die in a car accident, leaving behind three children, turning all life upside down.
Helen and Jenny are shocked when they left Helen in charge of lindsay and Paul’s three children: 15-year-old Audrey (Hayden Panettiere), 10-year-old Henry (Spencer Breslin), and five-year-old Sarah. (Abigail Breslin). No one expected Helen to be called the guardian of the children, especially since Jenny was already a super mom with two children and a third on the way. But a letter left to Helen by Lindsay convinced her that she could take care of the children. And Helen decided to do it on her own terms, which means raising children and maintaining them already fast-taramauraar schedules. But as work and children begin to intervene, Helen quickly burned herself and frustrated herself with her responsibilities and Jenny feels a lack of confidence in her upbringing.
