Movie Plot: Rushing off a broken leg, thrilling professional photographer L. B. “Jeff” “Jefferies (Stewart) are confined to a wheelchair in his Greenwich Village apartment. Their rear window is visible in a courtyard and many other apartments. During a powerful heat wave, he sees his neighbors who keep their windows open to stay calm.
