A newly wed man who believes he’s just gotten hitched to the perfect woman encounters another lady on his honeymoon.
Christina Papadopoulos (Claudia Karvan) is a sweet and well-known 22-year-old school teacher, associated with aspiring lawyer Dmitry (Steve Bastoni). Christina’s whole future seems to her employed by her fiancé, her father and her priest. Lively 17-year-old Nick Poids (Alex Demitters) is a student in Christina’s class. Nick and Christina find themselves attracted to each other as both begin to revolt against Greek-Australian cultural restrictions imposed on them.
When Christina becomes the coach of the school’s soccer team, she and Nick start spending more time together over school hours. Soon their mutual attraction is ignited in an illegal, passionate relationship.
