Movie Plot: After a brief prelude, Sun Wukong was shown being born from a rock, the first work began on the Flower and Fruit Mountain, with which Wukong watched a military parade on his subjects. Delighted with his martial skills, he decides to put himself on a display but accidentally breaks his royal sword. Unable to find a suitable weapon for himself, Wukong follows the suggestion of an old monkey to visit the Dragon King of the East Sea for a potential weapon.
Wukong then dives into the sea and travels to the Dragon King’s palace where he seeks gifts from a neighboring of weapons. The Dragon King, arrogantly astonished, orders his troops to bring progressively heavy weapons, but Wukong rejects all of them because they are very light and gaudy. The Dragon King then takes him to a great pillar that the gods used to bring down the sea during the great flood. Pillar is actually a magical employee weighing 8-u-will Cadel, eight tons, who can change shape and lift stakes the sun Wukong happily. Dragon King, who did not expect to be able to really take the Great Treasure, asks it back, but Wukong rebuked him saying that the king should not have given it if he did not want to take it, then returns to his kingdom.
The Dragon King goes to heaven and petitions the divine emperor for the return of the pillars and to punish Wukong. General Li quickly offered to send an army, but the God of the North Star suggests that Wukong be given a modest post in heaven to put him under close supervision instead. The emperor agrees with the plan.
